Orange and Silknet, Georgia's top provider of fixed and mobile networks, are excited to reveal a new strategic partnership, facilitated via the Orange Alliance program, starting on June 3, 2024.

This collaboration aims to boost Silknet’s performance in the B2C, B2B, and ICT sectors by utilizing Orange’s vast expertise and innovative solutions. The Orange Alliance program fosters partnerships between Orange and chosen telecommunications operators beyond Orange’s direct operational regions.

Through this partnership, Silknet will gain advantages from Orange's experience as a leading global operator in three key areas:

  • Expertise and Know-How: Silknet will gain access to Orange’s vast reservoir of knowledge and experience in the telecom and ICT sectors, which has been built over decades of industry leadership and innovation.
  • B2B ICT Services: One of the initial focuses of this alliance will be on enhancing B2B ICT services, helping to drive digital transformation in Georgia.
  • Innovative Solutions and Platforms: As a recognized leader within its domestic markets, Orange will provide substantial support to Silknet to transform the telecom landscape. It will allow access to Orange’s comprehensive portfolio of B2C products and services, including its cutting-edge platforms.

George Ramishvili, Chairman of Silknet’s Supervisory Board, expressed that Silknet has enjoyed a decade of successful cooperation with Orange, which has now evolved into a strategic partnership. He noted that this development marks a new era for Silknet’s digital ecosystem, allowing the company to offer advanced products and services. Ramishvili highlighted that the support of this global European conglomerate will enable Silknet to introduce its innovations to the Georgian and regional telecoms markets.
